與惡魔共舞
《Devil May Cry》系列第2作，故事發生於前作結束多年後。本作追加了Wall Hike和Rainstorm等技能，使Dante的動作變得更加華麗和豐富多彩。此外，除了Dante的故事外，玩家還可以選擇遊玩女主角Lucia的故事。力量型的Dante和速度型的Lucia，兩名主角能力特性各異。另外，額外模式「Bloody Palace」更於本作首次登場。
繼續經營萬能事務所的Dante，接受了一名有Dumary島「守護者」之稱的紅髮美女Lucia之邀請而到訪了Dumary島。在島上，Dante遇上了十分熟識魔劍士Sparda的Lucia母親Matier，從她身上得知了Arius企圖復活霸王Argosax的計劃，並受託阻止其陰謀。
