全身佈滿劇毒的少女・卡爾迪婭，身上的毒素能將觸碰之物腐蝕、溶解，因此被周圍的人當作【怪物】對待，獨自一人住在荒廢已久的宅邸裡過著與世隔絕的生活。
某個夜裡，當卡爾迪婭差一點被英軍抓捕時，一位自稱「紳士大盜」的男子亞森・魯邦突然現身，並從英軍手中劫走卡爾迪婭。
在魯邦的引領下，卡爾迪婭為了尋找線索，決定啟程前往【鋼鐵都市倫敦】尋找父親的蹤跡。
在陌生的土地上，卡爾迪婭遇見因倍、弗蘭、凡和聖等人，共同交織出一段充滿謎團與浪漫愛情的冒險故事。
