控制鐵路列車的人形部件——鐵路人偶。 前帝國鐵路8620型蒸汽機車首車，8620的專用鐵路人偶八六，也如其他眾多鐵路人偶一樣，隨著大廢線被棄用，陷入了長眠。
一位名叫右田雙鐵的少年在受大廢線影響而發生的事故中失去了家人，後被經營隈元縣御一夜市釀酒廠的右田家收為養子。
長大成人後考取了帝大的他，為使第二故鄉免於因引資建廠而使水質遭到污染，回到了御一夜市。
在那裡，他意外地喚醒了八六，進而成為了她的主人。 雙鐵與八六，為達成各自不同的目的，下定決心尋找下落不明的蒸汽機車8620。
玩家將扮演右田雙鐵，在故鄉御一夜市之中，與鐵道人偶八六及各具不同特色的少女們展開一場場浪漫的邂逅。
劇情對話中的選項將影響故事的走向，雙鐵與御一夜市鐵路的命運將掌握在你的手中。
